I started making music on the computer when I was 18, and I've been doing it a bit more seriously and consistently for the past year and a half or so. I never released anything before because it is very very hard to stand behind anything you create. This mixtape is an attempt to combat that difficulty. Beat Collage 1 and 2 in particular are basically every unfinished thing I ever made in Ableton that I thought had any value just all tacked together. I think of them as kinda like making the best parts of a sketchbook public, and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I'm pretty happy with how all of it turned out, actually. Art! Music! Life! Tunes! Creativity! Positivity! Gravity! Outer Space! Energy! Balance! Etc!
